Why Virtual Physical Therapy?
A Deeper, More Empowering Experience
Real-World Application: We address your challenges in the exact environment where they occur. I can analyze your actual desk setup, observe how you move in your own space, and provide real-world solutions that are immediately applicable.
Focus on Self-Management: You become an active partner in your recovery. The goal is to equip you with the knowledge and skills to understand your body, manage your symptoms, and prevent future issues independently. This fosters true self-reliance.
Enhanced Learning: Without the distractions of a busy clinic, our sessions are entirely focused on you. This dedicated one-on-one time allows for deeper conversation and a more thorough understanding of your personalized treatment plan.
Convenience & Accessibility
Zero Commute Time: Reclaim the hours you would have spent traveling to and from a clinic. A one-hour appointment is just that—one hour out of your day, not three.
Fit Care Into Your Life: Schedule sessions during a lunch break, between meetings, or whenever it is most convenient for you, without ever leaving your home or office.
Access from Anywhere: Receive expert care from anywhere with internet. Your location no longer dictates the quality of your physical therapist.
Undivided Professional Attention
A Private, Distraction-Free Environment: Unlike a traditional clinic where a therapist might be managing multiple patients, our time is 100% dedicated to you and your goals.
Direct Connection: Every minute of our session is spent in direct, one-on-one interaction, ensuring all your questions are answered and every movement is observed with expert attention to detail.
The Proven Success of Virtual Physical Therapy
Choosing a new way to receive care can feel like a big step, but you can be confident in your decision. Virtual physical therapy is a well-established and highly effective method of treatment, supported by extensive research and countless patient success stories.
The data shows that for many conditions, virtual care is just as effective as in-person sessions, while offering significant benefits in convenience and patient satisfaction.
Key Statistics on Virtual PT Effectiveness:
High Patient Satisfaction: Studies consistently show that patient satisfaction with virtual physical therapy is remarkably high. One joint survey between a large PT provider and Northeastern University found that 95% of telehealth patients were satisfied with their experience, nearly identical to the 97% rate for in-person care.

Excellent Clinical Outcomes: For many common musculoskeletal issues, virtual care delivers powerful results. A report reviewing over 2,000 pieces of literature concluded that virtual health technologies guided by a physical therapist deliver "clinically meaningful improvements in pain and function" comparable to in-person physical therapy.

Improved Adherence & Consistency: The convenience of telehealth removes common barriers to care. As a result, one large practice reported that patient no-show rates dropped from a pre-telehealth average of 13% down to 8% after implementing virtual options, leading to more consistent care.

Greater Efficiency: Because of the focused nature of virtual care and improved consistency, patients often reach their goals faster. The same study found that patients using telehealth were discharged one visit sooner on average than those in traditional care, saving both time and money.

By choosing virtual care, you are choosing a modern, evidence-based approach that is proven to deliver exceptional results.
Proven Effectiveness
Numerous studies have shown that for many conditions, particularly the ergonomic and postural issues faced by professionals, telehealth is just as effective as in-person care. By focusing on targeted exercise, education, and environmental adjustments, we can achieve significant and lasting improvements in pain and function.
By choosing a virtual or hybrid model, you are not choosing a lesser option; you are choosing a smarter, more efficient, and more empowering path to achieving your health and wellness goals.

What's Offered in a VIRTUAL Session:
A virtual session is focused on expert guidance, education, and empowerment. Through a secure video call, we will:
Conduct a Detailed Visual Assessment: I will guide you through specific movements and functional tests to analyze your posture, mobility, and the root cause of your pain.
Perform an Ergonomic Audit: We will review your home or office workspace together to identify and correct environmental factors contributing to your discomfort.
Provide Guided Therapeutic Exercise: I will teach and demonstrate a personalized exercise program, providing real-time feedback to ensure you are performing each movement correctly and safely.
Instruct in Self-Treatment Techniques: You will learn how to manage your symptoms independently using self-mobilization and release techniques.
The key benefit is convenience and accessibility without sacrificing expert guidance.
What's Offered in an IN-PERSON Session:
An in-person session includes everything offered virtually, but adds the critical element of hands-on care. This is a premium, concierge service where I travel to you (NYC area ONLY).
Conduct a Hands-On Physical Evaluation: In addition to the visual assessment, I will use skilled touch to precisely evaluate joint mobility, muscle tension, and tissue texture, leading to a more definitive diagnosis.
Perform Manual Therapy: This is the primary advantage of in-person care. I will use specialized hands-on techniques such as soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilizations, and other targeted therapies to directly reduce pain and improve movement.
Provide In-Person Cueing: I can provide immediate tactile feedback during exercises to ensure optimal form and muscle activation.
The key benefit is diagnostic precision and the power of direct, hands-on treatment.
The hybrid model combines an initial in-person visit for a definitive, hands-on diagnosis with the convenience of virtual follow-ups. This approach provides the diagnostic precision of manual therapy and the time-saving efficiency of telehealth, offering the most comprehensive and flexible path to recovery.
The Hybrid Model

Important Information:
Under New York's direct access law, a licensed physical therapist with at least three years of experience can treat a patient for up to 10 visits or for a period of 30 days, whichever comes first, without a referral from a physician.
This provision is designed to expedite access to care, reduce healthcare costs, and empower patients to seek timely treatment for musculoskeletal issues.
This means, it’s crucial we determine after our initial evaluation that we have a physicians referral or at least the information needed to get a referral, should we anticipate ongoing care past the 10-visit or 30-day periods.
Don’t have access to a physician? That’s okay! Let me help you with my established network of physicians who can help with our ongoing management of your health.
